Types of equipment:

• Pickaxe (stronger pickaxes enable you to mine rocks with less energy)
• Helmet (stronger helms give a higher amount of energy at the beginning of each level)
• Backpack (stronger backpacks give a higher amount of technology at the beginning of each level)

Obtaining new items:

• Opening silver chests
• Forging two of the same item into a stronger item (also costs gold)
• Upgrading an item in combination with a considerable amount of gold
